“This little guy is friendly with calmer dogs that respect his space and give him time to adjust and will thrive in a quieter home with a routine in place.”

Yeti

Male, young adult domestic short hair. Neutered vaccinated and micro-chipped. From the DCSPCA:

“He was transported to the Adoption Center via a wonderful rescue partner in Puerto Rico and we are sure the long voyage will pay off soon when he finds a forever home. Yeti is a quiet and sweetly shy fella who keeps to himself mostly, but does enjoy the company of other felines. He has been living in the cat-condo space with some other adults and kittens, and this exposure has really helped him relax and feel at home in his new environment. “

Bowser

Male, young adult shepherd blend. Neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. From the DCSPCA:

“He was transported to the Adoption Center via a high-risk rescue group in Georgia and eager to begin his new life in a forever home. Bowser is a happy and playful boy who gets along with dogs and cats. He is an enthusiastic member of dog playgroups and matches up very well with some of the higher energy, rough-playing types. He is a good listener, however, and recognizes when it is time to rein things in a bit. Bowser was also a blood donor dog at his prior rescue group, and we so proud of him for that lifesaving work.”

Hank

Male, young adult Australian cattle dog/pit bull terrier blend. Vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped. From the DCSPCA:

“He was rescued by the Delaware County SPCA from a crowded, high-risk facility in Georgia, and he is so happy because he knows that he is safe with the good folks at the Delco SPCA. You would never guess Hank has only 3 legs – he doesn’t let that slow him down one bit! Hank is a cuddly boy who likes to roll over for belly rubs. Sometimes he even thinks he is a lap dog! Hank would do well in a home with children of any age, and could possibly become friends with another resident dog that can keep up with his play style. Hank likes cats a little too much to live with one. He is trained to know “sit” and he’s doing very well in the house training department!”

Simba

Male, young adult domestic short hair. Vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped. From the DCSPCA:

“He was rescued from a local overcrowded animal control facility before finding refuge at the Adoption Center. Simba is a gentle giant who can be a little shy at first, but warms up after he gets to know you and would make an excellent forever companion in a calmer home.”
