Delco Hosting 4 Household Hazardous Waste Events In 2022

Save the dates for these events so you can get rid of hazardous household waste materials in the new year.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Delaware County is offering several chances for residents to safely dispose of hazardous household waste in 2022.

The county will host four events at which residents can get rid of numerous hazardous materials next year.

These events will take place Saturday, April 23 at the Emergency Services Training Center, 1600 Calcon Hook Road in Sharon Hill; Saturday, June 11 at Rose Tree Park, 1671 N. Providence Road in Media; Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Emergency Services Training Center, 1600 Calcon Hook Road in Sharon Hill; and Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Upper Chicheste Township Municipal Building at 8500 Furey Road in Upper Chichester.

These collections are open to residents only and not businesses.

All items must be brought in the original containers and must have lids tightly secured.

There is a 5-gallon drum limit per household.

Registration is required and will be available online here.

Drop offs are by appointment only and will be limited to one vehicle.
