Suburban Philly Teacher To Compete On 'Jeopardy!' Wednesday Night
Wallingford-Swarthmore School District teacher Liz Asklar Cotrufello, of Broomall, will compete on the storied game show Wednesday night.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A local teacher will hit the national stage, testing her trivia skills, Wednesday night.
Wallingford-Swarthmore School District teacher Liz Asklar Cotrufello will appear on "Jeopardy!" Wednesday.
Cotrufello, of Broomall, is a native of Canada and is a fourth-grade teacher at Swarthmore-Rutledge School.

She could be facing off against another Pennsylvanian, as Pittsburgh's Daniel Moore is on a two-game winning streak as of Tuesday morning.
Her other competitor will be Sean Weatherson, a physical therapist from Idaho.

Cotrufello said she learned to read early "and was given a great love of learning by my parents and family."
"I can remember a lot of the facts I’ve been exposed to, and am lucky to have the ability to come up with answers quickly" she said, according to the school district.
In a social media post by the district, Cotrufello took the "Jeopardy!" online test and was invited to appear on the show.
"It was one of the most exciting and fun experiences of my life," she said.
Catch Cotrufello competing on "Jeopardy!" at 7 p.m. Wednesday on ABC.
