Last Chance: Moonlight & Movies Friday
The first of the summer outdoor movie screenings in Newtown Township will be held on Friday, July 13, at dusk at Drexel Lodge Park in Newtown Square.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Don't forget to save the time: at 8:30 p.m. on Friday for the 5th annual 'Moonlight & Movies' event. Bring your entire family, along with lawn chairs, blankets and snacks for the first of 's summer outdoor movie screenings.
Make sure to get there early to get a good seat. Chairs will start setting up around 7:30 p.m.
This year will mark the fifth year the township will host the free outdoor movie series at , located off of West Chester Pike in Newtown Square.

The first movie of the series will feature Rio: The Movie.
A family-friendly event for all, movie snacks and light refreshments will be available for purchase.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 30 percent chance of showers for Friday night. Should it rain, the rain date for the movie will be held on Sunday, July 15, at the same time.

- Wednesday, Aug. 15, The Mighty Macs
