Marple Police Collecting Old, Unused Medications Saturday In Broomall

Marple Township residents can help keep old and expired medications out of the wrong hands and environment this weekend in Broomall.

BROOMALL, PA — The Marple Township Police department Saturday is participating in the DEA National Drug Takeback Event.

From 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, residents can safely dispose of expired or unwanted prescriptions at the GIANT store on West Chester Pike.

Medications can be dropped off in the drop box in the GIANT pharmacy.

GIANT is located at 2180 West Chester Pike in Broomall.

Additionally, medications can always be dropped off in the vestibule of the police department, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Marple Township Police Department is located at 1001 Sussex Boulevard in Broomall.

Safely disposing prescription and other medications can help keep them out of the wrong hands and out of the environment.
