Middle School Orientation Wednesday in Marple Newtown

• Government: Marple Township Zoning Hearing meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 21
• Food: PRC Farmers Market from 2 to 7 p.m. at Mostardi Nursery on West Chester Pike
• Orientation: Paxon Hollow Middle School 6th Grade Orientation on Aug. 21
• Traffic: Check on your commute on the PennDOT traffic cameras before you leave the house. But the traffic will likely be terrible—it's traffic.
  
• Weather: The forecast calls for temperatures to reach the 90s with sunny skies. Temperatures are expected to drop to the 70s in the evening.  
• History: Per the History Channel, on this day in 1959, Hawaii became the 50th state and in 1987 the movie Dirty Dancing opening.
