Mom Of 2 IDed As Victim In Fatal Delco Crash, Community Rallying For Family

Miranda Pugliese, 30, died in a Marple Township crash that authorities said was caused by a driver distracted by a cell phone.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — A mother of two has been identified as the victim in a fatal Marple Township crash in early January, which police said was the result of a driver being distracted by a cell phone.

The crash happened 10:43 p.m. Jan. 10 on the Media Bypass at the Interstate 476 northbound entrance ramp,

One person in a Honda was killed in the crash. That person was 30-year-old mother of two, Miranda Pugliese.

"Miranda is the loving wife of Anthony Pugliese and mother to Blake(3) & Myles(1) Pugliese," a GoFundMe page for the family reads. "With the help of others, we would like to raise as much as possible for the family during this trying time."

So far, nearly $92,500 has been raised through the campaign.

"If you knew Miranda you would know that she was the most warm hearted, loving and kind person that would do anything for others if asked," organizers wrote on the page. "We please ask that you share with your friends and family so we can support The Pugliese family as much as possible. Thank you."
