Movie Night, Blood Drive Wednesday in Marple Newtown

• Donate: Red Cross Blood Drives: Knights of Columbus Newtown Square, at 327 Newtown Street Rd. from 2 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 14,
• Food: PRC Farmers Market from 2 to 7 p.m. at Mostardi Nursery on West Chester Pike
• Traffic: Check on your commute on the PennDOT traffic cameras before you leave the house. But the traffic will likely be terrible—it's traffic.
• Weather: The forecast calls for temperatures to reach the mid-70s with sunny skies. Temperatures are expected to drop to the mid-50s in the evening.  
• History: Per the History Channel, on this day in 2003, a blackout hit the Northeast United States and in 1985 Michael Jackson took control of the Beatles' publishing rights.
