Newtown Square Private School Among Best In PA, Nation In New Ranking

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — One of the best private schools in Pennsylvania and the nation is right here in Newtown Square.

Education ranking service Niche evaluated 30,000 private schools on measures such as test score, academic performance and input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.

Niche then used that data to create its list of the 2026 Best Private High Schools in America.

And ranked quite well in the state and in the nation was Newtown Square's Episcopal Academy.

Episcopal Academy was Pennsylvania's fourth-best private high school, and the nation's 143rd best.

Niche gave the school an overall grade of "A+."
