Recycle Electronics Sept 25 At Delco Community College

Marple, Newtown, and Springfield townships are hosting a free electronics recycling event at Delaware County Community College this month.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — Marple, Newtown, and Springfield townships are inviting the public to recycle old, unused, and unwanted electronics later this month in Newtown Square.

Delaware County Community College is hosting a free electronics recycling event on Saturday, Sept. 25.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the college, 901 S. Media Line Road, Media.

Accepted items are:

  • laptops
  • peripherals
  • typewriters
  • telephones
  • microwaves
  • cameras
  • cell phones
  • calculators
  • TVs
  • dehumidifiers
  • computers
  • mice
  • small appliances
  • fax machines
  • printers
  • air conditioners
  • computer monitors

All data on devices will either be destroyed or wiped.

Items not accepted are smoke detectors, large appliances, wooden console TVs, and projection TVs.

Registration is required and can be done online here.

The event is open to all residents and businesses with fewer than 50 employees.
