For years, St. Pius X's parking lot has been the home for local boy scout and cub scout troops in the area to host their annual Christmas tree sales. This holiday season, Boy Scout Troop 468 and Cub Scout Packs 151 and 468 started selling fir trees to locals on Nov. 26. The sales of the trees will benefit the troop and packs' programs and activities.

St. Pius X's Christmas tree lot garnered 72 percent of the vote for best Christmas tree spot, while Don Guanella School's Christmas tree lot came in the readers' second choice with 8 percent of the vote.
