University of Delaware Names Local Students to Fall 2011 Dean's List
Local students from Marple and Newtown were named to University of Delaware's 2011 Fall Dean's List.

University of Delaware recently announced and residents who were named to the school's Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. Dean's List students must maintain a grade point average of 3.33 or above on a 4-point scale and must be enrolled full time at the University of Delaware.
Those local students who were recognized for their academic achievements included:
- William Cauley–A resident of Broomall, Cauley is currently a senior studying business and economics.
- Christina Croce–A resident of Broomall, Croce is currently a sophomore studying health sciences.
- Keara Farrelly–A resident of Broomall, Farrelly is currently a junior studying arts and sciences.
- Matthew Galbraith–A resident of Broomall, Galbraith is currently a junior studying engineering.
- Christopher Giacomucci–A resident of Newtown Square, Giacomucci is currently a senior studying business and economics.
- Thomas Giacomucci–A resident of Newtown Square, Giacomucci is currently a freshman studying business and economics.
- Lauren Huston–A resident of Broomall, Huston is currently a junior studying arts and sciences.
- Elizabeth Mackenzie–A resident of Newtown Square, Mackenzie is currently a junior studying arts and sciences.
- Nicole McFadden–A resident of Broomall, McFadden is currently a sophomore studying arts and sciences.
- Kelsey McGlade–A resident of Broomall, McGlade is currently a senior studying arts and sciences.
- Denise McKeown–A resident of Broomall, McKeown is currently a freshman studying engineering.
- Samantha Meehan–A resident of Newtown Square, Meehan is currently a sophomore studying engineering.
- Travis Mills–A resident of Newtown Square, Mills is currently a freshman studying agriculture and natural resources.
- Brian O'Connor–A resident of Newtown Square, O'Connor is currently a junior studying arts and sciences.
- Megan Rosica–A resident of Broomall, Rosica is currently a sophomore studying univeristy studies.
- John Yu–A resident of Newtown Square, Yu is currently a senior studying education and human development.
