- Marple Township Board of Commissioners work session meeting on Aug. 5 is cancelled.
- Marple Township Planning Commission meeting on Aug. 8
- Touch a Truck at Marple Library at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 7
- Newtown Township Blood Drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 9 at the township building. Go to redcrossblood.org and use sponsor code: "Newtowntownship" to register.
- Newtown Township Planning Commission meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 8. The Act 537 Plan is on the agenda to be discussed. Find the full agenda here.
- Newtown Library's Family Movie night for Aug. 7 has been rescheduled to Aug. 14
- Friends of Newtown Library will stop taking book donations for the upcoming book sale on Aug. 7
- Two for Tuesday DVD rentals at Marple Library. Rent two DVDS for the price of one. Two new releases at $2.12, two older releases for $1.06 or one of each for $1.53. Children's DVDs are always free.
- Marple and Newtown libraries are now closed on Sundays through August.
- PRC Newtown Square Farmers Market at Mostardi Nursey on Wednesday
- Springfield Road in Springfield Township will be closed between Route 1 (State Road) and Old Marple Road on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through the end of August.
