GARNET VALLEY, PA — A Delaware County business sold a Powerball ticket worth $1 million recently, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The Powerball jackpot is $1 billion, but a lucky lottery player in Delaware County is a million bucks richer.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials said Bethel Food Market, located at 1406 Naamans Creek Road in Garnet Valley, sold the $1 million-winning ticket.

The $1 million-winning ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 5-8-9-17-41, to win $1 million in Monday's drawing.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated.
Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back.
