1944 Media HS Grad Dies, and Other Obituaries

Helen P. Baker, of Middletown Township, died at 87. Baker was a 1944 graduate of Media High School and went into the Cadet Nurses Corp right after high school.


Solveig Cherim, of Wallingford, died at 83. Cherim was a long time member of the Providence Friends Meeting in Media and a member of the Delaware County Art Center.

Robert Warren Ferguson, of Tel Hai Retirement Community, Honey Brook and formerly of Newtown Square, died at 89. Ferguson was a member of Newtown Square Baptist Church where he served as youth pastor for 25 years.

Lana Rae Colon, of Havertown, died at 72.
