2nd Saturday, Delco Fair, Super Sunday Among Weekend Events [Get Out]
It's a busy week and weekend in and around Media Patch. See what's going on.

There are lots of things happening this weekend. It's a weekend full of community events. It's the 90th consecutive 2nd Saturday Arts Stroll this weekend and it's an even larger event this month with a concert kicking the day off at Glen Providence Park. Ride the ferris wheel at the Delco Fair, shop at Super Sunday or the Sidewalk Sale or get your car washed to benefit a local choir.Â

- When:Â Saturday, Sept. 14, from 6 to 9 p.m.
- Where:Â Downtown Media
- Why Go: Blues singer, Lonnie Shields, is the featured musician of the month and will perform at 7 p.m. at Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, State and Olive streets, and Emily Geddes is the visual artist of the month.Â
- When:Â Sunday, Sept. 15 Rain Date: Sept. 22
- Where: State Street in Media Â
- Why Go:Â Plenty of vendors will satisfy your shopping needs from socks, candy, purses, jewelry and more. You can find it all at Super Sunday.Â
- When:Â Saturday, Sept. 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Rain Date: Sept. 15
- Where:Â Glen Providence Park, off of West Street in Media
- Why Go: The final summer concert in the park, will offer big band Ken Delmar and The Cheers, to wrap up the concert series for the season.
- Cost: Free
- When: Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m.
- Where: Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN). PCN airs on various cable networks: on Comcast it can be seen on channel 10 (depending on the municipality’s programming) or digital channel 186; on Verizon, its airs on channel 9, and on RCN it sometimes airs on channel 55. The show also airs on the PCN website at www.PCNtv.com.
- Why Go: Have you ever looked at the courthouse and wondered about its history? Well now is your chance. Set your DVR and learn about the courthouse built 1848 and originally housed had a jail and gallows out back. The documentary is introduced by Delaware County Council Chairman Tom McGarrigle and narrated by Vice Chairman Mario J. Civera Jr.Â

- When:Â Saturday, Sept. 14
- Where:Â Sunoco, 2850 West Chester Pike, Broomall (next to Swiss Farm)Â
- Why Go: Get your car washed and benefit the Marple Newtown High School choir at the same time.Â
