$35K Fine Imposed After Underage Gambling At Delco Casino: Officials
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board also said two workers were fired and banned after leaving a child in a parked car at the Delco casino.
CHESTER, PA — Tens of thousands of dollars in fines have been levied against a Delaware County casino after state authorities allowed underage people on the gaming floor and to gamble.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board recently approved a consent agreements Wednesday regarding violations that occurred at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack in Chester.
Chester Downs and Marina, LLC, which operated the casino, was fined $35,000 fine for allowing individuals under the age of 21 to gain access to the gaming floor and gamble.

Additionally, the gaming board banned two people from Harrah's Philadelphia after they left a 14-month-old child unattended for 14 minutes in a vehicle parked at the casino.
Authorities said the two were employed by the casino and went into the casino’s dealer school and human resources office.

Both were terminated.
The board’s action serve as a reminder that adults are prohibited from leaving minors unattended in the parking lot or garage, a hotel, or other venues at a casino since it creates a potentially unsafe and dangerous environment for the children, officials said.
Leaving minors unattended at a Pennsylvania casino also subjects the offending adult to criminal prosecution, in addition to exclusion from all Pennsylvania casinos.
From the start of 2022 through May 2023, the board found 370 incidents of adults leaving children unattended to gamble at Pennsylvania casinos involving 596 minors.
