Boat Challenge, Penncrest Tech Info Night Wednesday in Media

• Library Fun: Boat Challenge at Middletown Library at 4 p.m. on Aug. 28. Teams will be given a set of supplies and 30 minutes to make a boat. The team with the best boat (that also stays afloat) will win a prize. For ages 5 and up. Registration required. 
• Back to School: Penncrest High School Tech Information Night for grades 10, 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. on Aug. 28

• Food: Dining Under the Stars on Wednesday
• Traffic: Check on your commute on the PennDOT traffic cameras before you leave the house. But the traffic will likely be terrible—it's traffic.
• Weather: The forecast calls for temperatures to reach mid-80s with expected thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to drop to high 60s in the evening.  
• History: Per the History Channel, on this day in 1996, Charles and Diana divorced and in 2006 fugitive polygamist leader Warren Jeffs was arrested.
