Delco Juneteenth Celebration Seeking Kids' Artwork For Logo

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Artistically inclined youths in Delaware County are invited to submit logo designs for the county's upcoming Juneteenth celebration.

The celebration will be held Monday, June 19 in Media's Rose Tree Park and feature live music, activities for kids and families, food, resources for the community, talented local vendors, and more.

But before the celebration can take place, organizers need a logo, and that's where local youths come in.

Students from any school, home-school program, and of any age are invited to submit artwork to be considered for the logo.

Submitted artwork must be original and include the words "Delaware County’s 2023 Juneteenth Celebration."

Logos can be created digitally or physically.

When submitting a piece, be sure to include the artist name, age, school, and contact number.

Only one submission per person is permitted, and artwork will not be returned to submitters.

The deadline to submit a piece is Friday, March 24.
