Edgmont Supervisor, Elected Judge to Step Down as Supervisor

Township supervisors will appoint a replacement.

Edgmont Township SupervisorΒ William "Chip" Mackrides, a Republican, will step down as supervisor in January when he is sworn in as a newly electedΒ Delaware County Court of Common Pleas Judge, according to the Delaware County News Network.

Mackrides, along withΒ Republican Richard M. Cappelli beat outΒ Democrats Nancy Walker andΒ Steve Chanenson for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in the November Election.Β 

Edgmont Supervisors Ron Gravina and Joe Conan will appoint someone to fillΒ the vacancy, according to the Delaware County News Network.Β
