'Famous Actor' Steals Thousands From Delco Man: State Police
Pennsylvania State Police said a local senior citizen wired a scammer who was posing as a famous actor more than $6,000 recently.
GLEN MILLS, PA — A Delaware County man fell victim to a scammer who claimed to be a famous actor, according to authorities.
Pennsylvania State Police said they were called to a home in Glen Mills on March 14 for a report of a theft.
Troopers learned the victim, a 77-year-old man, wired someone $6,150.
