ASTON, PA β A young Delaware County girl is out of the hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries in a June crashthat tragically took her friend's life.
Ridley Township Police Tuesday shared a photo of its members with Isabella "Bella" Jones, 11.
"Welcome home Bella," police said on Facebook. "We hope you have a speedy recovery!!"

Police in Aston Township said the girls were struck at about 2:18 p.m. June 14 at Lehr Boulevard and Concord Road in Aston.
The Isabella and her friend, 12-year-old Abigail Gillon, were riding an electric scooter when they were struck by a vehicle.

Police said the girls were taken to Neumors Childrenβs Hospital Delaware after suffering serious, life-threatening injuries.
Abigail succumbed to her injuries on June 16
The striking driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police, authorities said.
GoFundMe campaigns are raising money for Isabella and Abigail. A third fundraiser will split money it generates between the two girls' families.
