How Much Snow Fell In The Media Area? See Weekend Storm Totals Here

MEDIA, PA — The Philadelphia region just saw its first significant snow storm, and unfortunately for local kids it happened on a weekend.

So much snow did the Media area get Sunday morning?

According to the National Weather Service, a trained spotter recorded 5.5 inches of snow at 1 p.m. Sunday in Media.

Nearby in Aston, a member of the public reported 6 inches at 10:15 a.m.

A member of the public recorded 5 inches in Broomall at 10 a.m. Sunday.

The most snow in Delaware County was recorded in the Lawrence Park area in Broomall, where 7.5 inches of snow was reported by a trained spotter.

The highest snowfall total in the five-county Philadelphia region was recorded in East Nantmeal, which saw 8.8 inches, according to the NWS.

Summit Hill in Carbon County had Southeastern Pennsylvania's high snowfall total with 9 inches.
