Local Hospitals Ring in New Year With First Babes of 2012

Hospitals near the Media Patch area welcomed 2012's first babies on Jan. 1.
Just seven minutes into the new year, Bryn Mawr Hospital's first baby arrived. Lillian Monica Organtini was born at 12:07 a.m., weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces, said Main Line Health manager of communications Bridget Therriault.
Lillian is the second child of Christina and Randy Organtini, residents of the Jeffersonville section of West Norriton, Montgomery County. Her older sister, Olivia, is 4.

A couple of hours later, Paoli Hospital delivered its first baby of the year to parents Srujana K. Sangaraju and Kumar Dommaraju of Exton.
Aalaya was born at 1:50 a.m., weighing in at 6 pounds and 13 ounces, said Therriault.
