Missing Delco Boy Found: Police

Two-year-old Jeremiah Cottman was reported missing late last week, but Delaware County police said he was found in Philadelphia Saturday.

CHESTER, PA — Police in Delaware County said a young boy who was missing has been found.

Chester Police Friday said 2-year-old Jeremiah Cottman was missing.

On Saturday, police said the boy was found in Philadelphia.

He was taken to Children's Hospital in Philadelphia for evaluation and was placed in the custody of Children and Youth Services.

Police said CYS worker Jessica Weld, Chester City Detectives, Det./Capt. El'Lan Morgan, Det. Robert Ticknor, Cpl./Det. Kevin Schieler, Cpl./Det. Astrid Cottrell, Delaware County CID Detectives, Sgt. Steve Banner, Det. James Simpkins, members of the U.S. Marshals Service, and members of the Philadelphia Police Department's 18th District were integral in finding the boy.
