Missing Man Found Dead In Delaware County

ASTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Authorities in Delaware County said investigators found the remains of a missing man over the weekend.

According to Aston Township Police, the remains of Mark E. Bennett were found in a wooded area along Pennell Road Sunday.

Foul play is not suspected.

Police said Bennett was last seen at 1:13 a.m. June 17 in the parking lot of Barnaby's Restaurant and Pub, 5501 Pennell Road in Media.

According to authorities, Bennett took a ride-share service from Washington, DC to the Philadelphia area before arriving at Barnaby's.

Police said once he got to Barnaby's, he got out of the vehicle in the establishment's parking lot and walked away moments later.
