• Possible final Merry Christmas Fund contributions in (delcotimes.com) — Several Media residents are highlighted among the latest donors to the Salvation Army’s 2025 Merry Christmas Fund, helping push the campaign past the halfway mark toward its $50,000 goal. Their gifts, alongside contributions from nearby towns, will help the Chester Corps cover Christmas expenses and support year-round operations, with one final wrap-up of donations still to come.
   

• Siddiq Kamara sworn in as Delaware County sheriff, turning family tragedy into push for change (6abc.com) — Delaware County’s new sheriff, Siddiq Kamara, was sworn in at the courthouse in Media, becoming the county’s first Muslim sheriff and, he says, the youngest sheriff in America. Motivated by the 2021 death of his young cousin, he’s pledging better training, modernization, and stronger community outreach from an office based right in town.
   

• 2 suffer serious injuries in crash on Baltimore Pike in Chadds Ford (dailylocal.com) — A serious crash on Baltimore Pike at Webb Road in Chadds Ford left a 77-year-old local woman and a 42-year-old man from Media with suspected serious injuries, both taken to Paoli Hospital. State police say the man’s SUV hit the woman’s car as she turned, and she was later cited, though their current conditions are unknown.
