See How Much Media Spent On Booze In 2024

MEDIA, PA — Tipplers in the Media spent more than $11.5 million on alcohol in 2024, according to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board released its annual report recently.

And the report features sale figures for individual Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores across the state.

Two of those are located in Media.

The store at 315 West Baltimore Ave. sold $6.31 million worth of alcohol in 2024 over 159,367 sales. The average transaction price was $39.60.

And the store at 1083 West Baltimore Pike had 148,814 transactions, with an average transaction of $35.03, totalling $5.21 million in sales.

Delaware County's stores had the sixth-highest sales of all Pennsylvania counties, with $101.7 million in 2024.
