Trade, Apprenticeship Fair Coming To Delco Saturday

MORTON, PA — Local youths are invited to attend an upcoming apprenticeship and trades fair in Delaware County this weekend.

From 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit in Morton, State Rep. Jennifer O'Mara and State Sen. Tim Kearney are teaming up with the unit to host the fair.

Students in grades seven through 12 are invited to learn about careers, trades and labor jobs.

Trade and labor careers can offer competitive wages and stable work without having to take on tens of thousands of dollars in student education debt.

Trade careers include food service, construction, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, carpentry, and more.
