• Fire causes extensive damage to Beaver County sausage maker's building (timesonline.com) — Monaca firefighters were among many Beaver County crews battling a major fire that heavily damaged Cesina's Sausage Co. in Aliquippa on Dec. 15. No injuries were reported as departments from across the valley worked in freezing temperatures to control the blaze and support a longtime family business.
