5 Things to Know This Week: Annie Jr., Holy Trinity Festival, Fifth Harmony

Patch gives you a rundown of what's going on around town this week.

1. Holy Trinity Festival

Holy Trinity's annual festival is one of Holy Trinity School's largest fundraisers. The food, games, rides and entertainment begins Wednesday, July 31 and runs through Saturday, Aug. 3 from 6 to 11 p.m. on the parish and school grounds at 5720 Steubenville Pike,  Robinson.

2. Annie Jr. 

Arena's Performing Arts Centre presents Annie Jr. on Saturday, Aug. 3. Showtimes are  1:30 and 6 p.m. in Robert Morris University's Massey Theater Tickets are $5 at the door. For more information email info@arenaspac.com 

3. Fifth Harmony

Fifth Harmony (5H) is scheduled to perform at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 in The Mall at Robinson’s Grand Court, Lower Level. The teen pop group debuted their first single “Miss Movin’ On” via radio on June 15 and the Pittsburgh appearance is part of a nationwide mall tour.

4. The Muppets at Dusk

Moon Parks and Recreation presents the summer movie appropriately titled, "The Muppets at Dusk." Why, you ask? Because the movie begins at dusk Friday, Aug. 2 in Moon Park as part of Family Fun Nights. 

5. Grow It, Eat It

The Coraopolis Memorial Library is hosting a "Root Vegetable Recipe Exchange," at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1. Bring along your recipe and your dish if you would like to share. This is a fun way to collect new recipes and try new foods. Register by calling 412-264-3502.
