Bayer Reports Boost in North American Revenue
The company headquartered in Robinson Township saw a 17 percent increase in revenue, and 9 percent in sales.

Bayer Corp reported the company’s North American business saw a 17 percent increase in revenue last year over 2011, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.
When adjusting for currency, the North American boost in 2012 was 9 percent higher, or roughly $12.3 billion for the company headquartered in Robinson Township.
Profit for the entire company, based in Germany, was down 1 percent to 2.45 billion euros, or $3.15 billion, while sales were up 9 percent year-over-year to 39.76 billion euros, or $52.15 billion, the Business Times reported.
