Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Crescent Township Board of Commissioners to meet

will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building on Spring Run Road.

The township's Environmental Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the The meeting will be followed by a Moon Township Municipal Authority meeting at 7 p.m., also in the municipal building.

Musical group Groove Mechanic will play its brand of covers from the '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s at noon Wednesday at Robin Hill Park during an outdoor concert. Admission is free.

Just outside of the township on Neville Island, Island Sports Center will host its weekly family fun night at 6 p.m. Friday at the center's 7600 Grand Ave. location. Admission is $10.
