Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. OLSH students return to the classroom

Students at return to the classroom this week for the new academic year. 

Seniors, juniors and sophomores will attend classes today while freshmen receive an orientation presentation about their new school.

Freshmen will attend their first day of classes tomorrow. The entire student body will report for classes on Wednesday.

The will hold a workshop meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the township Municipal Building.

football team will open its 2011 campaign at noon Saturday at the campus's Joe Walton Stadium against the University of Dayton.

The will hold an orientation event at 8 a.m. Wednesday for district faculty and staff. 

School spokeswoman Megan Edwards said district administrators will present their goals for the upcoming school year at the event.

The will hold an "I'm going to kindergarten" presentation at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow. The event is aimed at getting young children excited about their first day of school. A snack will be provided.
