1. Guys and Dolls opens at Moon Area High School

will present Guys and Dolls at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets, which are available at the door, are $10 for seniors and students and $12 for adults. Check back with Patch for coverage.

students can take part in the "Love and Be Loved" campaign to combat domestic violence. The event, which takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the university's Nicholson Center, features a T-shirt sale that will benefit the Women's Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh. The event is held in honor of March's Women's History Month.

3. Moon Fire Department fish fry scheduled for Friday

The  will hold its Lenten fish fry from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the municipal Public Safety Building on Beaver Grade Road. Click  for more information.

5. Former cops charged in connection to prostitution ring to stand trial

, 55, and , 39, two former Pittsburgh narcotics detectives by with prostitution-related crimes in 2011, are scheduled to appear today for non-jury trials before Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Judge Donna Jo McDaniel.
