Good Friday and Easter in Moon and Robinson: What's Open, What's Closed
The holiday weekend brings closings.

Hippity, hoppity, Easter's on its way.
With a major holiday comes closings of area institutions and businesses. Here's a rundown of what's going to be open or closed.
- In observance of Good Friday, government offices in Moon and Robinson townships will be closed on Friday.
- Moon and Montour schools are also closed. School resumes Tuesday, April 2 for Montour and Wednesday, April 3 for Moon.
- Federal, state, and Allegheny county offices and courts including the Department of Court Records, the Court of Common Pleas, the district attorney’s office, and the sheriff’s office will be closed in observance of Good Friday. Offices and departments reporting to the county executive will be open
- Friday is not a federal holiday. Banks and liquor stores will be open. All state stores will be closed on Sunday.
- The U.S. Postal Service will have regular mail delivery and collection.
- Pennsylvania Department of Transportation driver's license and photo centers will be open, although some services will be available on its website.
- The Port Authority of Allegheny County's bus, T and incline service will operate on normal schedules on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For more information, see the Pittsburgh Port Authority website.
- Robinson's Easter Event is from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at the Moon Run Fire Hall.
- Moon Township Library will be closed on Friday, March 29 and Sunday, March 31, in observation of the Easter holiday. The library will be open for regular hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 30. The Robinson Library is closed on Sunday.
