I-79 Lane Restrictions Occurring In Robinson

PennDOT has announced I-79 lane restrictions in Robinson this weekend. Get the details here.

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, PA — Single-lane restrictions will be in place this weekend on northbound Interstate 79 in Robinson and Kennedy townships, PennDOT announced. The restrictions will be in place from 7 p.m. on Friday through 6 a.m. Monday.

The lane closure is necessary to permit crews to conduct concrete patching.

Additionally, there will be closures of two ramps at the Route 60 (Exit 60) interchange for
crews to conduct concrete patching. The ramps from northbound I-79 to Route 60 and southbound Route 60 to southbound I-79 will close to traffic from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.

Northbound I-79 ramp to Route 60:

  • Continue on northbound I-79 past the closed ramp
  • Take the Route 51 Coraopolis/McKees Rocks off-ramp (Exit 64)
  • Turn left onto Route 51
  • Turn left onto the ramp to southbound I-79 toward Washington
  • From southbound I-79, take the Moon Run off-ramp (Exit 60B) to northbound Route 60 or the Crafton off-ramp (Exit 60A) to southbound Route 60
  • End detour

Southbound Route 60 to southbound I-79:

  • From southbound Route 60, turn left onto the ramp to northbound I-79 toward Erie
  • Take the Route 51 Coraopolis/McKees Rocks off-ramp (Exit 64)
  • Turn left onto Route 51
  • Turn left onto the ramp to southbound I-79 toward Washington
  • Follow southbound I-79 to the Route 60 interchange
  • End detour
