Leading the Band: Moon Drum Majors Talk About Upcoming Season
The Moon Area marching band will perform tonight at Mars Area High School.
Things are looking up for the marching band.
"The theme is sort of ascension, or 'up,'" said Nicholas Barthen, Moon Area band director.
In keeping with the theme, Barthen said the band's set will include the Led Zeppelin classic "Stairway to Heaven," complete with an "awesome guitar solo."

"Everyone's been great," Barthem said. "It's going to be a great show."
The band will play its opening half-time performance of the season at 7 tonight at Mars Area High School.
