McClaren Road In Moon Fully Reopens To Traffic

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — McClaren Road in Moon between Sabre and Resurrection roads has reopened after being closed since June of 2018 due to a landslide.

In February, crews began slope stabilization work that included construction of a retaining wall, repairs to another wall, shoulder reconstruction, installation of drainage structures and curb,

as well as replacement of pavement, guide rail and pavement markings.

The $563,181 project was completed earlier than expected, Allegheny County Public Works officials said.
