Moon Fun Nights, Concerts Continue During August

See what movies will be shown at Moon Park and who's performing for the Aug. 21 outdoor concert at Robin Hill.

Family Fun Nights at Moon Park continue in August with Friday movies and entertainment that start at dusk.

The schedule is:

  • Aug. 2—Muppets (PG)
  • Aug. 9—Wild World of Animals (live entertainment event)
  • Aug. 16—Hotel Transylvania (PG)
  • Aug. 23—The Lorax (PG)
  • Aug. 30—The Odd Life of Timothy Green (PG) 
The park is located at 1350 Joe DeNardo Way (Ewing Road). The Fun Nights are sponsored by Moon Parks and Recreation. 

The next Lunchtime Concert will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, featuring the jazz music of Jason Kendall, at Robin Hill Park, 949 Thorn Run Rd.

Volunteer opportunities are available for all ages and abilities at Moon Park. Anyone interested in volunteering at special events like Family Fun Nights, recreational basketball or the Halloween Spooktacular event should contact the Moon Parks office at 412-262-1703 or email info@moonparks.org.
