Moon Police: Business Owner Charged with Exposing Himself

The owner of a Moon Township-based landscaping company is charged with indecent exposure after police said he exposed himself to a woman. 

Police said 72-year-old Armando Zucchero, owner of Zucchero Landscaping, on Aug. 3 exposed himself to a woman he picked up on University Boulevard. He told the woman he would drop her off at home and provided her with his business card, according to police records. 

The woman said Zucchero exposed himself and did not stop his vehicle as it neared her home.  She jumped from his moving car to flee, according to police. 

The woman was not injured in the incident. 

He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Sept. 18 in Coraopolis District Court. 

Moon Police charged Zucchero earlier this year with indecent exposure, open lewdness and endangering the welfare of children stemming from a March incident. He is slated to face a jury trial on those charges in October before the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, according to court records.

• Nihal Jude Fernando, 22, of Moon was charged on Aug. 8 with one count of computer trespass and two counts of unlawful use of a computer, after police said he attempted in April to hack into several email accounts of  staffers. He is scheduled to face a preliminary hearing for the charges on Aug. 21. 

• Phuong Thanh Ho, 20, of Moon Township, was charged Aug. 5 with unsworn falsification to authorities and giving false reports to law enforcement. Police said he reported his vehicle stolen from the parking lot of Colony West Apartments, however Pittsburgh Police located the vehicle and said it had been abandoned after a crash.
