Moon Teenager Reported Missing

Family members of Savannah Clark said she has not been seen since Aug. 6.

are investigating the disappearance of a 17-year-old senior. 

Savannah Clark, 17, was last seen Aug. 6, according to family members. Police Capt. Greg Seamon said Clark's mother saw the teen that night at home before she went to bed. 

Seamon said the next morning Clark's parents found a note from the girl that said she was running away from home. Because Clark is a juvenile, her disappearance is being handled as a missing-persons case.

Seamon said Clark, who has no prior juvenile history with the department, did not indicate where she was going in the note or her reason for leaving.

"She didn't even take a cellphone with her," Seamon said. "Our officers have been following leads with friends, friends of friends, possible boyfriends.

"We have no idea where she is at this point," Seamon said. 

Clark is 5-foot-5 and weighs 145 pounds. She has light blue-gray eyes and is fair-skinned with short dark hair. She also has a blue heart with wings tattooed on her inner left wrist. 

Clark's family asks that any information regarding her disappearance be reported to township police at 412-262-5000.
