Patch Pet: Meet Lionel

Lionel is a 7-year-old black and tan German shepherd mix who readily seeks attention and wants to please everybody.

He gently takes treats as he looks at you with his soft eyes that say, “I will love you, I promise!” He knows the sit and stay commands and is polite on a leash. 

Like his German shepherd relatives, Lionel is a working dog who requires mental stimulation.  A great way to help Lionel would be to take a class at Animals Friends University. It would be a great bonding experience, too! 

Lionel would love a family or individual who is active and would take him on long walks, hikes or jogs. 

Because Lionel loves people so much, he wants to be the only dog in your home, receiving all of  your love and attention.  He is fine with children older than 9. If you think you have the love  for a beautiful dog like Lionel, he is waiting to meet you at Animal Friends.
