Patch Pet: Meet York

Well, hello there!

My name is York and I am a 15-year-old Dachshund/Beagle mix. Even though I am an older gentleman, don't let my age fool you. I am still very spry for my age and I love to go on walks! I also love to just lay in the sunshine and relax.

I have spent some time in a foster home and my foster family had nothing but great things to say about me, including that I am housebroken. I also get along great with dogs and cats. They have a really comfortable couch and I just love to curl up on it to sleep. I am a little shy, but they say that I am a very sweet dog.

Because of my age, and the fact that I am not very playful, I think a home with older children would be best. I would hate to disappoint a child who wanted to play ball! And remember, I like cats and dogs, so I could probably get along with yours as well.
