Residents Face Alcohol-Related Charges

• Monty Charles Marcus, 47, of Rhode Island, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance at 2 a.m. Nov. 2 on Interstate 376.

• Raymond H. Grooms, 33, Moon, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance at 2 a.m. Nov. 7 at the intersection of Beaver Grade and Thorn Run roads.

• Stephen Balkovec, 18, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, underage drinking and being a minor driving with alcohol in his system at 2:40 a.m. Nov. 6 on University Boulevard.

• Brandon Michael Mayo, 19, of Imperial, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 5 on University Boulevard.

• Andrea Dawne Ackley, 26, of Coraopolis, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle with no ignition, and public drunkenness at 2 a.m. Nov. 1 on Ceder Drive.

• Kyle J. Clemen, 23, of Moon, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance  at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 28 on Brodhead Road.
