RMU Plays Host to Elementary Day at Sewall Center

The Moon-based university did just that Dec. 21 when it played host to its annual Elementary School Day for area children. Students from the , Ambridge and Hopewell had a chance to attend a women's Colonial's game against Akron for the event.Â

The turnout helped the women's team set a record for game attendance, with more than 885 fans filling Sewall Center's stands. RMUÂ defeated the Akron Zips, 85-78, in the match-up.Â
Students had a chance to sing holiday karaoke, play in a campus police cruiser and take part in a number of interactive displays at the event.Â
