Robinson Hires New Finance Officer
A former Edgewood finance director was hired earlier this week in a 5-to-0 vote.

voted 5-to-0 to hire a new finance officer for the township.Â
Gerald Kezmarsky was hired by the township Monday night at an annual salary of $55,000. He began work on Tuesday, said township manager Aaron Bibro.Â
Kezmarsky formerly served as the finance officer for Edgewood. He has a master's degree in accounting from the Moon-based Robert Morris University.Â

"You get a lot of accountants with private sector experience applying, but it was really important that we hired someone with experience working in the public sector to make this a smooth transition," Bibro said at the meeting.Â
The board also approved in a 5-to-0 vote the final payment to First Commonwealth Bank for its 2012 tax anticipation notice in the amount of $1,267,279.15.
