Section Of Moon Road Closed For 5 Years To Reopen
Allegheny County has announced plans to reopen a portion of McClaren Road that has been closed since 2018.

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of McClaren Road, which has been closed since 2018 because of a landslide, will reopen as early as May.
Allegheny County announced Wednesday that slope stabilization work on McClaren will start on Feb. 8. The work includes a new retaining wall, repairs to another wall, shoulder reconstruction,
installation of drainage structures and curb and replacement of pavement, guide rail, and pavement markings.
The road has been closed between Sabre Road and Resurrection Road since June of 2018.
