Winter Weather Advisory Until This Afternoon
A winter storm warning has been cancelled.

Locals woke up to a late blast of spring snow this morning.
Fortunately, the most intense snow accumulations—about 3 to 5 inches total—are expected this morning, before diminishing.
The National Weather Service in Moon Township has cancelled a winter storm warning, but a winter weather advisory remains in effect until 2 p.m. for southwestern Pennsylvania, including Allegheny, Beaver and Butler counties.

A winter weather advisory means that snow will cause travel difficulties so use caution while driving.

- Today: Snow, possibly mixed with drizzle, becoming all snow after 1pm. High near 37. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
- Tonight: A chance of snow showers, mainly before 10pm. Cloudy, with a low around 28. North wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
- Tuesday: A chance of snow showers before 3pm, then a chance of rain showers. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Northwest wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
- Tuesday Night: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. West wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
