2 Injured In Single Vehicle Crash In Solebury Township

A car left the roadway Monday morning and struck a utility pole and a retaining wall on Phillips Mill Road.

SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — Two people were hurt Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Phillips Mill Road in Solebury Township.

The Eagle Volunteer Fire Company and the City of Lambertville Fire District No. 1 responded to the scene along with the Solebury Township Police Department for the report of an accident with entrapment.

Upon arrival, crews found that a single vehicle had left the roadway and struck a utility pole and a retaining wall.

Personnel from New Hope Eagle the Lambertville Fire District No. 1 used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the driver of the vehicle. Two patients were transported to St. Mary Medical Center by Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad and Central Bucks EMS.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Solebury Township Police Department. The New Hope Borough Police Department provided traffic control.
